Test Code: 2
Test Type: Cancer Screening
Sample Type: Blood
Eligibility: Age 20 - 80, Gender: FEMALE
The Breast Cancer Screening Panel measures selected tumour biomarkers that may be associated with breast cancer. It is recommended for women at increased risk due to family history, genetic predisposition, or suspicious clinical findings. This test supports early detection and treatment monitoring but should be used together with mammography, ultrasound, MRI, or biopsy when clinically indicated.
No fasting is generally required. Stay well hydrated and inform your healthcare provider about any medications or ongoing treatments.
CA 15-3, CEA, BRCA1/BRCA2
Early detection significantly improves treatment outcomes. This screening panel helps identify abnormal tumour marker levels, supports risk assessment, and assists physicians in deciding whether further diagnostic tests are needed.
